Project Contributions

• My contribution to the project was initiating the research for the topic we were targeting to work on by starting a basis to what we should be researching about, for example being the weaknesses and strengths of the topic etc. using ChatGPT to assist us in our efforts. Topic: Greenhouse farming.

• Edited the team minutes. And established our roles. 

• I contributed to reminding my group over the weekends as team leader to continue research on how we could progress on our chosen topic. Progress being, the suggesting of different solutions and innovation to further explore in.

• Finalised with my group on our report title. "Introducing a self-sufficient system to ComCrop through solar technology and rainwater harvesting".

• Discussed with my group in editing, refining and finalising our problem statement and purpose statement.

• We researched on our stakeholder, ComCrop, by visiting their website and watching their introductory video on YouTube about their greenhouse farm.

• Discovered through further research of their systems they had already implemented the rainwater harvesting system and solar panels. Discovered such info from a ChannelNewsAsia article from 24 Sep 2024.

• In regards to the previous point I worked with my team to come up with a new innovation to pitch, the condensate recovery system.

• We had to give feedback to other teams on their presentations, in doing so made me realise what I was lacking in my own abilities as I reflected, through this I edited and adjusted our presentation slides and report info accordingly to better fit the criteria to score.

• Helped to edit my part of the presentation slides in the project's background.

• Gathered every member's points for our oral presentation to have a clear understanding of our roles.

• Was the opener/gave the introduction to our oral presentation.

• Touched up on the 1st draft background part of the report.

• Did the conclusion to our 2nd draft of our report.

• Did some of the citations in the report and checked if all citations were properly citated.

• Touched up on the introduction to the report.
